About:

Josee McGee is an Ohio songwriter, vocalist and guitar player.

Her singing developed at a young age with her sister, Nikole, to shape it with. Sharing songs was as common as breaking bread in their upbringing. Her pre-disposed, “social butterfly” nature landed her opportunities as an Open Mic Night Host, a session vocalist, and a frequent live performer in several musical groups.

A singer, just as much as a songwriter, Josee enjoys performing covers by artists like Carole King, Harry Styles, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Shania Twain and so many others. With two full albums available online, “Weeper” and “Tree Rings,” you’ll find it hard to narrow her style down to one genre. Her songwriting reflects influences of pop, jazz, soul, and sometimes country.
